project 7 | UAS
We have begun the slow process of spreading awareness to other schools. We are starting with our sister school Universal American School.
Recently, Ania and I went to UAS to meet with the director of means of implementing some of our green ideas (i.e. green week, recycling) into their school. (march 11th) The feed back was extremely positive. A few teachers approached me and asked us to come to their meeting ( consisting of the elementary student council and their growing environmental group) where we presented our club and projects.
They are incredibly enthusiastic, yet just need a bit of inspiration and motivation on where to begin, and I really hope we have been able to give them a glimpse of that hope of where to begin and also that a very very very small group of people can make an immense difference!
They will set up their official ecubed organization soon, under our main e3 headquarters.
We also have a meeting with a student from DAA tomorrow and we hope to further include implementation towards their school. Fingers crossed that we will have positive feedback and students who are willing to work hard and make a difference.
