Green Day: 6/December 2007
Activities:
- airing of ‘Inconvenient Truth’
- big ‘e3′ hand print poster (everyone sticks their hands in paint and paints the poster)
- assembly (possibly)
- showing of ecubed blog
- showing of ecubed powerpoint
- guest speaker invited by Mohammed Fathi
- showing of ecubed official website
- passing out of badges??
- competition of most plastic bottles collected starting from the week of the 25th of december until the 6t (green day).
- inter-form room competitions.
- secondary school: interform rooms + staff room
- primary school: interform rooms
- ULTIMATE Winning form room will have a pizza party at lunch time.
- non-uniform day. wear GREEN. 10dhs per person. Best greenly-dressed students’ photos will be taken and posted on our e3 board.
The whole day will be a ‘green’ theme.
P.s. bins will be provided for each form room. our advertising group needs to paint them GREEN!
What if we have “light’s out” on the same day as Green Day??
the ‘bin per classroom’ idea has been canceled, however i am still pushing it with Ms. Exley, if she does not approve it, i’ll ask Mr. Bastable. If not, we’re stuck with bins for the cafeteria only.
. oh well…
we are however getting medium bins for the cafeteria btw. and the plastic bottle competition has to jump start soon..hopefully at the latest by this thursday!! Posters anyone? Ania and myself will have to write letters home, both in the primary and secondary school. good luck to uss!
