Day 2: exhibition day
Day two wasn’t so bad at all. We were able to exhibit our display to all years except IB and year 11, but it’s okay, because the younger years are more enthusiastic anyways.
We asked survey questions regarding recycling and energy conservation. All years were a bit cold and shy at first, but after warming them up, most were more than happy to join in discussions and most enjoyed the presentation.
We put up articles about environmental awareness, facts about the environment, projects we’ve done (with pictures, kids LOVE pictures) and survey questions.
Overall it was quite successful, the kids as well as the teachers enjoyed it. I believe we were quite successful in spreading awareness.
Oh, and picture day has been (not canceled) but postponed to after the spring break. A shame yes, but more time was needed and we already have enough on our plates!

You’re right, I’m one of the year eights and I have to say I enjoyed the exhibition very much.
