Green Week

Some amendments have been made to the green week calendar so please review that for updates.

Tomorrow is green week and we are kicking it off with bins, posters and an exhibition date. (as well as a small assembly for the primary students)

Yes, it was not all that easy, it took a million e-mails, thousands of people to go through, and tons of people complaining. It’s for a good cause, just never imagined it could take so much work!

Next week we will be visiting UAS to hold a meeting and share some of our ideas and experiences with Green Week: the amount of preparation and planning it takes, as well as some of the obstacles to be overcome (as well as unsatisfied teachers and last minute preps).

We hope green week will be a major success. We are trying to spread climate change awareness and are going out with a bang–hopefully.

Our website is still under construction and should be up and running completely by Sunday.

Thanks to all that helped, and a special thanks to Mr. Maher for stepping in at the last minute and helping out.
